Parking at the Motegi circuit during the MotoGP event can be quite busy, but with proper planning, you can ensure a smooth experience. Here’s what you need to know about parking at the Motegi circuit:
It’s highly recommended to purchase your parking pass in advance, especially for MotoGP as parking spots can sell out quickly. If you haven’t purchased a parking pass in advance, there may be limited availability on the day of the event, but this isn’t guaranteed, especially during major events like MotoGP.
Note that some parking lots allow for overnight stay!
North Area
Because of the limited parking spaces, a large parking area has been established. The primary location for evening events, Overnight Square, is situated in the N5 parking lot. A free shuttle bus is available to transport attendees to the central event area, ensuring easy access and convenience.
South Area
Several locations have converted small, forest-enclosed areas into parking lots. Although these spots are distant from the event area, they are ideal for those who wish to unwind with friends or enjoy some quiet time.
East Area
There are also several parking areas in the East Zone (use East gate).
