In October, when the Japanese Grand Prix takes place, Motegi experiences mild autumn weather with temperatures gradually cooling throughout the month. Early October will see daytime highs around 26-27°C (79-81°F) and lows around 19-20°C (66-68°F). 

As the month progresses, temperatures will decrease, with highs around 21-24°C (70-75°F) and lows dropping to 14-17°C (57-63°F) by the end of the month. Rainfall is expected to be moderate, with occasional showers and thunderstorms likely, especially during the early part of the month.
